INGREDIENT:
100 gm hand –made thin seviyan baskets
4 tablespoon ‘desi ‘ ghee
sugar (according to taste)
2 liters of milk
10-12cardamoms,
powdered almonds and
pistas for garnish

METHOD:
Boil the milk in a vessel , add sugar, cardamom power and the sliced almonds. Reduce the quantity of milk to half its
volume . Heat the ghee in another heavy bottomed vessel, when hot add the seviyan and fry it quickly for a
minute
till it turns golden brown taking care that it doesn't burn add the milk to the fried seviyan and cook for another five to ten minutes . remove from fire and garnish with sliced almonds
and pistachoos . Serve warm.
