SHEER KHURMA

Dahi(Curd) Kadhi recipe

INGREDIENT:

Curds 250 gms
Gram flour 2 tblspn.
Black Mustard seeds ¼ tspn.
Black Pepper 6-8
Red Dry chilli 1-2
Asafoetida (Hing) 2 pinch
Turmeric powder ¼ tspn.
Chilli powder ¼ tspn. (or as required)
Curry leaves 2-3(optional)
Salt to taste
Sugar ¼ tspn.
Oil 1 tblspn.
For Pakodas

Gram flour 1 cup
Green Chili chopped 3 nos.
Turmeric Powder ¼ tspn.
Salt to taste
Chopped coriander leaves 1 tblspn.
Baking powder 1-2 pinch
Oil ½ cup (to fry)

METHOD:
Mix gram flour with all the ingredients and water except oil to make a smooth and thick batter of pancake consistency. Heat oil in a pan and fry small pakodas with the batter and keep aside.

1. Mix well curd, gram flour and 3 cups of water.
2. Heat oil in a pan, add mustard seeds, black pepper, Red chilli and hing and curry leaves. Fry till seeds crackle.
3. Add curd mixture, bring to a boil and add salt, sugar, turmeric powder, chilli powder.
4. Cook on low heat for about 5 minutes by constant stirring.
5. Add pakodas and cook for 2 minutes on low heat.
6. Take out in a serving bowl and garnish with chopped coriander leaves or sprigs of coriander.
7. Serve hot with plain rice.
